About the Shop

Since I was a little girl, I have always loved art and fashion. When I first started sewing at age 10, I was hooked, and I never stopped thinking about new outfits and design processes. I knew I wanted to become a designer of some sort. Fast forward many years later and while I still love sewing, designing clothes, and fashion illustration- I'm absolutely crazy about graphic design and making digital artwork!

I love color, pattern, and anything involving donuts, or that's spooky season related. I'm inspired by vintage clothing, music, dance, movies, comic books, video games, tattoos, food, skate/surf culture, pop culture, death...really just the entire world/universe! The shop was founded in Brooklyn, NY in the summer of 2020.

The name October Darlings comes from me, my mother, and grandmother all being born in October just a few days apart!

I wanted to create a shop that was very affordable, while still being special. I want every piece to make you feel like you treated yourself to something handmade and unique, but that you didn't have to break the bank for. EVERYONE deserves to feel good in life, and I hope my shop can do just that to others!

All of my earrings, ornaments wall art, and 3D prints are proudly and wholly designed and manufactured me (with my heart and soul!) in Kansas City with MY OWN hands!
